Interior Virtual Walkthrough

Resolve claims quickly and revisit the property as many times as you need without stepping foot onsite.

Updated yesterday

To receive a virtual walkthrough, you will first need to scan the interior spaces with the Hover app. From start to finish, the average interior LiDAR scan for a property only takes 15 minutes, and you will receive the virtual walkthrough in about a minute!

If you don't have a LiDAR device (iPhone 12 Pro and later, iPad Pro 2020 and later), you can use our alternative universal scan experience.

Hover turns interior scans into immersive 360° virtual floor plans for an in-depth view of any space, making it even easier to resolve claims quickly, even if you never step foot onsite!

  • No extra driving

  • No additional appointments

  • No added expenses

Floor plan views

Don't miss a detail. You can see it all!

Do you want to see everything, or just the structure? Simply toggle between 3D or virtual mode whenever you want.

Specific floor plan views:

Doll house

The virtual model will open to Doll house mode by default, but you can also get to it from the navigation menu:

Freely navigate the model, quickly moving from room to room and determine conditions at a glance.

Top down

Get a clear picture of the room layout and different materials. In this example, you can observe things like:

  • The area in the dining room and kitchen may have laminate

  • The living room and hallway appear to have hardwood floors

  • There's carpet on the stairs

  • Possibly just subfloor in the bathroom

At a glance, you have a better understanding of the transition areas for flooring repairs.

Free roam

Using the blue circle to navigate the model, you can also zoom in or out by using the mouse wheel or two fingers on a touch pad or phone.

Tap to walk through the space, or drag to rotate the camera.

Photos in context

Photos from the Hover scan are localized in the model with the ability to view all or just the damage photos.

Localized photos:

Any small white dot that you see in the model indicates a localized photo. To see these photos in the model:

  • Click the eye icon in the top right corner

  • Click the photo icon (to add or remove non-damage photos)

  • Hover your mouse over the dot to see a preview of the photo*, or click the dot to see the photo overlayed with the virtual mesh.

Damage photos:

If damage photos were taken during the scanning process, they will be localized in the model as well and will be indicated with red dots. Unlike the white dots for non-damage photos, there is no option to hide them - the red dots are always visible so that you never have to search for the damaged areas.

  • Hover your mouse over the dot to see a preview of the photo, or click the dot to see the photo overlayed with the virtual mesh.

*Note: The field of vision indicator is only available on desktop. Tap and hold a photo spot to preview on mobile.

Virtually measure any line segment on the model

Need to figure out the height or width of something specific in the room? You can use the measurement tool!

  • Tap the triangle icon from the bottom toolbar

  • Point and click to set your first end point

  • Click where you want to place the other end point

    • The measurement will be displayed immediately, and you can even reference it from the top down view:

You can edit or delete the virtual measurement just as easily.

  • Tap or click on the virtual measurement you want to edit or delete

    • Two icons will appear

  • Tap the Edit icon to adjust the endpoints of the virtual measurement

  • Tap the Trash can icon to delete the measurement
