Invite homeowners to scan their property with the Hover app and:

  • Remove the need for multiple on-site visits

  • Receive to-the-inch measurements and property imagery before the appointment, derived from the homeowner’s scan

  • Boost homeowner satisfaction with quicker estimates and 3D visualizations

Step-by-step guide


 

Step 1 - Invite the homeowner to download the Hover app:

You can invite the homeowner to scan their property via the mobile or web app.

If starting from the mobile app:

  • Tap Start a project or tap '+' at the bottom of the screen

  • Select Interior measurements or Exterior measurements, depending on the measurement type you need

  • Fill out the Property details, then tap Invite to capture

If starting from the web app:

  • Log in to your Hover account

  • Tap + New

  • Tap Invite to capture

 

Step 2 - The homeowner scans their property with Hover:

The homeowner will receive an invite to download Hover both via email and text message. 

Once the homeowner takes pictures of their property with the Hover app and submits them, you will see the status tracker from the project details page.

Step 3 - Receive the 3D model and measurements:

You will receive an email and push notification when the interactive 3D model and all the exterior measurements are ready. This is also the point in which you will be billed.

How will I know that the homeowner has submitted photos of their home and that the 3D model is ready?

In the project details page, you can see whether the homeowner registered with Hover and submitted the scan. We will also send you an email when the 3D model and measurements are ready.

At what point will I be billed?

You will be billed when you receive the 3D model and exterior measurements.

Does the homeowner receive the measurements as well?

No, the homeowner receives the 3D model without measurements. However, they do receive access to Hover Design so they can experiment with the look of their property's exterior.

Can I delete the invite after I’ve sent it to the homeowner?

Yes, you can delete the invite at any time. Once you delete the invite, the homeowner will no longer be able to scan their property as part of the project that was deleted.

Can I archive the project if the homeowner does not scan their property?

Yes. Click 'Archive', and the project will no longer appear in your Projects page list. You can unarchive the project in the future, if the lead reaches out again. Simply tap "Unarchive'.
