When you upload an image through Hover's Designer tool, you can select from various style inspirations, and make additional custom edits to the image after it's been generated.
This article dives into the process of editing paint colors, walls, roof materials, windows, and more!
Editing paint colors
You can add paint to the walls, trim, garage, and shutters.
Click the Paint button below the image
Select a color palette:
Click the buttons below the design to specify where you would like to "paint"
Select a color from the right side menu
Click Apply
Editing walls
You can make updates to all the walls at once, or make updates to specific regions of the home by clicking on the corresponding hotspot(s) on the image.
Click the Walls button below the design
Click the drop down arrow below Edit walls
Make a selection from the multiple cladding options
Select your material
Click Apply
In the following example, the horizontal siding is updated to Alabaster Board and Batten, and a sub-region of the property is updated to Stacked Gravel stone:
Editing the roof
Click the Roof button below the design
Click the drop down arrow below Edit roof
Select a roof material - Asphalt Shingle, Slate, Metal, or Tile
Select your desired roof material color
Click Apply
In the following example, the asphalt shingle roof is updated to Graphite slate shingles:

Click the Windows button below the design
Click the drop down arrow below Edit windows
Select a window style
Select a trim color
Click Apply
Saving and sharing your design
To save your favorite designs:
Click the icon in the lower right corner
From the right side menu, choose to add it to an existing project folder or create a new project folder
To share your design:
If you were making edits to the design, first click Done in the upper right corner
Click Share in the upper right corner
The "Share Link" will copy to your clipboard so you can:
paste it into an email
paste it into a text message
