How it works
Note: For the best experience, make sure your Hover email matches your Xactimate email and that your project’s claim number in Hover matches your claim number in Xactimate.
1. Start a new project in Xactimate

Request data within Xactimate:
From the local projects screen, create a draft job in Hover.
Click + New project
Select a price list that matches the location or region for the project.
Enter tax jurisdiction information as required.
Input insured information, including policyholder details.
Enter loss information relevant to the claim.
Save and exit this section.
Complete the request data flow for Hover measurements and sketches:
Select your newly created project and tap the house icon to request data
Complete the Hover job:
Capture the Hover photos at the loss location and proceed to
Step 2 when the job is completed
2. Create the Guided Estimate in Hover

Tap Guided Estimate
From the projects page in Hover, open the property and click the Guided Estimate button or tab to begin
Select templates
Select relevant Xactimate material template(s) for the project's claim, then tap Continue.

Select Area(s)
Based on the project's claim scope, apply the templates by tapping on the model (zoom and rotate), or by tapping on the labeled area boxes
Note that only one template can be applied per facet
Partial Project Warning
If you only have a portion of an area selected, a pop up will confirm you are working on a partial project. Click Continue to confirm or Back to Selection to select the full scope
Update details
The following sections will walk you through making selections on styles, roofing demo, underlayment, etc.
Once complete, click Create Guided Estimate,
You will be redirected to the Guided Estimate page
Send to Xactimate
Review your selections and then tap Send to Xactimate when ready
A "Sent” status will appear
Note: A guided estimate can be resent to Xactimate any time. It will create a new estimate instance without overriding the previous one.

In Xactimate, open your project.
Click on the Estimate > Sketch menu tab
Select the sketch icon in the top left
In the import selection, choose the most recent estimate, which includes the sketch, measurements, and Guided Estimate from Hover
The material and labor line item estimate will populate, and you can now make any necessary adjustments in Xact to finalize your claim’s estimate.
