Use this article to understand where variations exist between our sketches today and which features are either partially supported or not yet supported by Xactimate or CoreLogic.

Interior Walls


Un-captured walls

Situation: User did not take photos of a specific wall in the space

Overhanging walls - type 1

Whenever thin walls create the appearance of a doorway from one room to another

Overhanging walls - type 2

Whenever there are thin walls above a doorway leading into an enclosed room

Overhanging walls - type 3

When partial walls originating from the ceiling break larger rooms into multiple rooms

Arched walls

Semi-circular walls

Short walls

Walls that are short in length, not height

Walls that are not 90°

Walls that are angled either less than or greater than 90°

Wall thickness

Representing a structure’s varying wall thickness.

Pony Walls

Partial walls do not reach the ceiling, nor do they extend the full length of a room.

Openings


Un-captured areas

When the enclosed space in the center is not a captured space - whether a person intentionally chose not to take photos of it or accidentally excluded it.

Opening positions

Openings directly beside, or originating from, the corner of another wall

Non-rectangular openings

Any opening with a unique shape

Cabinets


Kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities

Rectangular cabinets or vanities

Non-rectangular cabinets

Cabinets that are not a simple 3D rectangle

Multi-story


Multiple floor elevations

Different floor levels, but same story

Layout


Multiple ceiling heights per room

Room or story with varying ceiling heights

Inset areas

A 'niche' or inset wall that creates a ledge

Pillars / columns

Displaying size and location of pillars or columns within a room

Rooms within rooms

Such as a walk-in closet, elevator shaft, standalone pantry, etc.
