Upgrade Roof-Only projects to Full exterior projects

Unlock more measurements by upgrading your project data from either the Hover web or mobile app

You can easily upgrade a Roof-Only project to a Full Exterior any time, all from within your Hover project details page.

What's the difference?

  • Roof-Only spatial data includes measurements and a 3D model for just the roof of a property

  • Full exterior spatial data includes a full 3D model of the property along with all exterior measurements for the roof, plus all walls, siding, openings, and more

NOTE: Once a project has been upgraded to "Full Exterior", it cannot be downgraded / reverted back to Roof-Only.

How to upgrade a job


From the mobile app

  • Login to your Hover account and tap to open the property from your project page

  • From the project details page:

    • Click Upgrade at the bottom of the Job summary tab

    • Tap the Full exterior option, then tap Confirm

    • The status will show as "Processing"

From the website

  • Login to your Hover account and click to open the property from your projects page

  • From the property details page:

    • Click Upgrade within the Measure card

    • Use the dropdown to select the Complete deliverable option

    • Click Confirm Order

    • The job status will show as "Processing"

Will I be charged?

When will it be ready?

  • Generally, you can expect an email notification within the same business day, once the complete measurements are ready. If the property is more complex, the wait time will be affected.
