2D Design mode
With just one photo, Hover Design in 2D mode inspires homeowners with photorealistic visualizations on their own home.
This builds trust at the kitchen table with real products at proper scales. No design experience needed. Scroll through various styles to narrow down homeowner’s preferences. Use ‘region lock’ to focus only on the areas you want changed.
Once they’re inspired, you can go deeper with customization. Browse the product catalog configured to your trades, swapping materials, colors, and finishes until you land on the look they want. Homeowners move toward decisions, faster and with more confidence.
In Beta and available to test today, you can transfer materials selected in your 2D Design into our powerful 3D model.
3D Design mode
Hover’s 3D Design enables reps to scope the project with the digital twin of the home on screen. Like our 2D Design, our visual workflows are intuitive and easily adoptable for your entire team.
Easily find materials in your catalog with search and filter, by brand, color, type and more. Select individual or multiple facets to apply materials quickly. Split walls and trim facets, add decorative knee walls or belly bands, and convert walls to trims and vice versa.
Upgrade doors, garages, windows, and remove shutters with just a few clicks.
Because Hover is trained on real structures and real product geometry, 3D Design is visually accurate, helping homeowners get to “yes” faster, and gives installers exactly what they need for precise planning.

Measurements mode
In Measurements mode, you can visually identify the areas you need measurement data for. Built on 10+ million homes and our proprietary spatial information, Hover’s more complete and detailed data provides better outputs trusted by over 300,000 pros.
Hover delivers the most complete measurement dataset for roof and siding, averaging 285 individual measurements ensuring accuracy for mixed materials, multi-trade jobs, and complex exterior geometry.
Easily find measurements of individual facets and see totals on the 3D model. Pull out custom measurements and draw several line segments to get exactly what you need. Of course, as always you can download all your measurement into an organized and detailed PDF.
Once you’re happy with the scoped project, you can turn your design and measurements straight into Estimates with just a few clicks.
Estimates
Hover is the only takeoff software that can transform smartphone scans into a 3D design and estimate, mapping quantities precisely to surfaces, mixed materials, and more.
Material quantities flow in automatically from your design. Labor, markup, waste, coverage and tax rules adjust based on your business settings. Reps can edit relevant information live at the appointment.
You can set up financing, promotions, tax rules, margin guardrails, and reusable templates so reps sell from consistent, pre-approved setups. This allows new reps to ramp quickly to your sales process.
And because the estimate reflects the true scope, sales and production teams are aligned from the start, eliminating inefficiency downstream in the production process.
