ServiceTitan Integration

The Hover + ServiceTitan integration enables faster, more professional, customized estimates.

To access this integration, customers must be on a Hover membership plan. Pay-As-You-Go users are not eligible for Marketplace integrations. If you'd like to upgrade, please contact [email protected].

For Hover customers using ServiceTitan, the integration is available at no additional cost.

ServiceTitan has built an integration with Hover that streamlines your workflow by transforming onsite photos and Hover 3D measurement data into ServiceTitan-ready dimensions to be used with your Spec-Based Templates.

This integration provides:

  • Seamless Data Transfer: Hover’s property measurements and photos automatically sync into ServiceTitan job records.

  • Instant Access to Visuals: Technicians and office staff can view Hover imagery and measurements within the ServiceTitan platform without switching apps.

  • Faster Estimates: Teams can generate estimates and proposals faster using Hover’s accurate measurements directly inside ServiceTitan.

  • Improved Accuracy: By pulling in Hover’s precise exterior data, estimates are more consistent and professional, reducing manual input errors.

  • Streamlined Operations: Reduce double data entry, and initiate Hover jobs from existing leads in ServiceTitan; accelerating the time from lead, to proposal, to job completion.

Integration prerequisites:

  • The ServiceTitan account email address used to setup the integration must match an existing admin Hover account email address.

  • Your Hover account must have access to Marketplace Integrations and advanced exports

  • A user with Hover admin permissions needs to activate the integration

Step 1: Set up the integration


  • Log into your ServiceTitan account

  • From the toolbar, click Settings

  • From the side panel, click Integrations > Measurements

  • Click Configure in the Hover box

  • Slide "on" the toggle switch located beneath Account Setup, then click the button: Sign into Hover

  • When redirected to your Hover account - click Allow to authorize the ServiceTitan integration.

  • When redirected back to your ServiceTitan account, you will see the word "Connected" which indicates the integration setup was successful

Note: If you’re already signed in to an Hover account and want to switch to a different one, turn off the Account Setup toggle. This signs you out of the current Hover instance.

Mapping form fields to Hover fields:

Before moving on to the next step, be sure to map your form fields appropriately.

  • On the Form Source Mapping box, click Create

  • From the Forms dropdown, select the form to use for your Spec Based estimates

    • Note: You can set up form field mapping for more than one form if you have multiple Spec Based estimates.

  • Click Next

  • The Form Fields pre-populate the fields created in the previous selected form.

  • In the Hover field, match and map the fields to tell ServiceTitan which data from Hover correlates to which field on the measurement form

  • When finished, click Save

Note: Defer to your ServiceTitan CSM if you need help mapping your Hover measurements to your ServiceTitan templates.

Step 2: Set up Spec Based templates


To create the Spec-Based template:

  • Go to the top toolbar and click Pricebook

  • In the side menu, click Templates

  • From the Create dropdown, select Spec Based Template

Step 3: Set up a Hover alert


We recommend setting up an alert to monitor the status of Hover jobs and get a notification if they fail for any reason. This helps you to quickly identify and address issues.

To set up an alert:

  • Go to the top toolbar and click Settings

  • In the side panel, click Integrations > Alerts

  • Click Add to create a new alert

  • From the Add Alert section, select Type as Hover Status

  • Select a Delivery Method

  • Select your Recipients

    • Note: Hover alerts are only sent to the assigned technicians on the job and the user who ordered the report. Not all users in the recipient field receive alerts, only those directly related to the measurement job.

  • When finished, click Save

Note: You can receive alerts via email, text message, or both, like other standard alerts.

Step 4: Order and view measurements


To order measurements from Hover and pull them into your Spec Based form in ServiceTitan, follow these steps:

Order Measurements:

  • Open the job in ServiceTitan

  • Scroll to the Measurements section

  • Click Order Measurement

  • Select Hover as the place to order measurements from

  • Fill out the Additional Information and Location Information details

    • Both the Capturing User and Internal Assignee will be able to take the property photos in the Hover app.

    • A Capturing User could be a ServiceTitan-internal tech/sales person or a homeowner

  • Click Order Measurement

View Measurements:

After sending your job to Hover, you can view its progress in the Measurements screen. To view the Measurements table on the Job screen:

  • Open the job in ServiceTitan

  • Scroll to the Measurements section

  • From the Measurements table, you can see:

    1. Name: Combination of the word Measurement + Address.

    2. Source: Selected source in spec based template set up.

    3. Date Requested: Measurement’s requested date.

    4. Requested By: Who requested the measurement.

    5. Status: Measurements status.

Note: The measurement order is in Processing status, first. After Hover completes the order, the status changes to Ready.

After the measurement status is Ready, click More (vertical dots) in the table to:

  • Create Estimate

  • Download the measurements in PDF, XML, or JSON format

  • View Measurement

Step 5: Create estimates


After Hover completes the order, the measurements are transferred to the Spec-Based Estimates form, and you can proceed with creating the estimate:

  • On the Job screen, click Job Actions

  • Click Add an Estimate

  • Select Spec Based Templates

  • Choose the template from which you want to create an estimate

  • Click Next

  • On the Select Measurement Option window:

    1. To use an existing measurement form: Open the dropdown menu under Existing Measurements and select a pre-completed form.

    2. To enter new measurements manually: Click Manual Input and fill in the measurement details directly in the form.

  • After you select the measurement option, click Next

  • Review or manually input the measurements in the form and click Save

This creates estimates on the job based on the information you input in the measurement form.

Need to create an estimate via mobile? Follow these steps.

After a measurement order is completed by Hover, the measurements pre-populate in your Spec Based Estimates form. You can then easily create estimates.

  • If you aren't already on the Job screen for your current job, tap Overview on the dashboard, and then tap your current job

  • Tap Forms

  • Tap the measurement form you use to create estimates

    • Note: If your business uses a lot of forms, you can filter by business unit to find the one you need.

  • On the Select measurement option window select the option:

    1. Existing measurement: To use an existing pre-completed measurement form, open the dropdown menu under Existing Measurements and select a pre-completed form.

      1. Note: The Existing measurement will be grayed out if an existing measurement does not exist.

    2. Manual Input: To enter new measurements manually, click Manual Input and fill in the measurement details directly in the form.

  • Tap Select

  • Review the measurements populated from Hover and edit or add any additional information if needed.

  • When finished, tap Save

This creates estimates on the job based on the information you input in the measurement form. You can view them on the Estimates tab.

Create estimates by editing existing forms

You can make changes to the information entered on the measurement form. After the form is updated, you can apply the changes to the existing estimates or create new ones.
