Note: Bolster does not yet support multi-structure or multi-level properties.
The Bolster + Hover integration streamlines your workflows by transforming Hover measurement data into Bolster-ready dimensions. With this integration, you can automatically generate pricing for specific materials and associated labor based on area, length, volume, and more.
Integration prerequisites:
You must have a Bolster account with an active subscription
Your Hover account must have access to Marketplace Integrations
A user with Hover admin permissions needs to activate the integration
Setting up the integration.
Log into your Bolster account
On the lefthand menu, click Hover
Click Connect to Hover
When redirected to your Hover account - click Allow to authorize the Bolster integration.
When redirected to your Bolster account, you will see that the integration setup was successful because the button will have changed to say: Disconnect from Hover
Syncing your estimates with Hover.
Once you have successfully integrated your Bolster and Hover accounts, you can sync your Bolster estimates with Hover in a couple ways:
Create a Hover job for an estimate within the Bolster platform
Manually import Hover data into an existing estimate
To create a Hover job from the Bolster platform:
Open the estimate from Bolster's Pipeline tab, then:
Click on the Takeoff tab
Click Hover from the top of the page
Click Sync with Hover
Click Capture request, then:
Name your Hover job
Select the deliverable type from the drop down menu
Select the Hover job owner from the drop down menu
This person will use the Hover app to take photos of the property.
Click Send capture request
Once a job has been completed in Hover, you will need to manually import the measurement data into Bolster, as shown further below.
To import existing Hover information into an estimate on the Bolster platform:
Open the estimate from Bolster's Pipeline tab, then:
Click on the Takeoff tab
Click Hover from the top of the page
Click Sync with Hover
Click Existing job
Select the completed Hover job from the pop-up list
BolsterAI will match your Hover measurements to the Bolster estimate. Then you will see:
The Hover measurements in the lefthand column
The dimensions of the Hover measurements
The assembly (or estimate root) that the dimension will be used in
Check that the assembly/estimate roots match up correctly to the dimension since this is automatically matched by BolsterAI
If all looks correct, click Confirm
Back on the Estimate tab, you will see that the Qty and pricing information was successfully imported into the project - eliminating the need for manual entry and giving you quicker, more accurate takeoffs and estimates.
