When you upload an image using Hover's Instant Design feature, simply select from various pre-loaded design styles, and make additional edits to the image after it's been generated. Prefer to directly customize the original image? You can do that too!
Whether you're designing an image of the property's exterior, or an interior space, this article shows all the changes you can make using Instant Design.

Choose how to edit the image
You can tap Inspire me to browse one of many pre-loaded design styles, and then make additional edits, OR tap Customize if you'd like to edit the original image.
Using Inspire me to edit an image:
Tap Inspire me
Browse the pre-loaded styles and tap the one you want to use
Your image will get an instant makeover based on popular trends
Customizing the original image:
To begin, tap Customize on the original image
Tap specific areas in the image directly, OR select an area from the menu
No matter how you choose to get started, you can edit the design as much as you want!
Filter by real colors, brands, and materials from our product catalog, and when you see something you like, click it! It will be applied to your image instantly.
Edit paint colors for walls or siding
You can add paint to the exterior walls, trim, garage, and shutters. Here's how:
Click Paint from the menu
Select the areas of the image you want to paint
Want to apply the same color to all the walls? Use the All walls toggle as a shortcut!
Use the filter button to narrow the selections to match your desired brand or color palette
Tap or click on the the paint of your choice and watch as Hover applies it to your design

Select which area to paint - the walls, ceiling, or cabinets, if applicable

Edit the roof color and materials
Click Roof from the menu
Select areas of the roof you want to change or use the All roof toggle as a shortcut!
Select a roof material - Asphalt Shingle, Slate, Metal, or Tile
Select your desired roof material color
Click the option you like and watch it appear in the design in seconds!
Edit the windows
Click Windows from the menu
Filter by brand, type, grill pattern, and color
Click View to see your options
Click to apply
Saving and sharing your design
To save your favorite designs:
You can either click Save in the bottom right, or click Save this design from the Next Steps prompt in the bottom left
To share your design:
Click Share
The "Share Link" will copy to your clipboard so you can:
paste it into an email
paste it into a text message
To make edits to the trim, walls, garage, etc. the process will look similar, if not exactly the same as what's been shown in the sections above!
