FileTrac is a Claims Management System that helps claims teams reduce manual work, limit human error, lower claim costs, and improve cycle time.
Their integration with Hover allows you to:
Create and send scan invites to either the assigned adjuster, assigned 1099 adjuster, or the insured
Scan exterior structures or interior levels using the Hover app
Import Hover's measurement PDF and photos into the centralized FileTrac claim file once processing is complete
Pass this information into the final claim file for the carrier
Multi-structure and multi-level support
The FileTrac integration supports one Hover project per claim. That project can be either:
Exterior — including multiple structures at the same address, such as a main house, detached garage, or shed
Interior — including multiple levels of the same building, such as a first floor, second floor, or basement
Exterior and interior projects cannot be created on the same FileTrac claim at the same time.
Create a Hover project (i.e. capture) from FileTrac
From the Manage Claims page in FileTrac, locate the claim and select Create Capture in the HOVER Capture column.
In the Create a HOVER Capture Request window, choose:
Capturer — Assigned Adjuster, Assigned 1099 Adjuster, or Insured
Wallet — determines who is billed
Approval Type — Auto-Approve or Requires Approval
Hover scope:
Roof Only HOVER — captures the roof only
Complete HOVER — captures roof and exterior dimensions; supports multiple structures at the property
Interior HOVER — captures interior measurements; supports multiple levels in the same building
Then select Create HOVER Capture Request.
Track capture status
After the request is submitted, the HOVER Capture column displays live status information, including capture status, Hover status, and available actions.
If approval is required, the claim will show Approval required, and the available actions will include Approve or Cancel.
If auto-approval is selected, the claim will show Pre-Approved after submission.
Complete the capture (i.e. scan) in the Hover app
The recipient of the scan invite receives a text message with a link to begin the scan in the Hover app.
For an interior capture, the person completing the scan can add another room or level before submitting.
For an exterior capture, the person completing the scan can add another structure before tapping Finish.
Once the Hover scan has been submitted, and processed, Hover automatically uploads the measurements, photos, and PDF to the linked FileTrac claim.
Review Hover data in FileTrac
Once Hover has processed the scan, the project status in Hover changes to Complete, and a View on HOVER link appears in FileTrac.
To view the measurements and photos in FileTrac, select the Reports eye icon on the claim row.
Available deliverables may include:
HOVERModel PDFs — one per structure for multi-structure exterior scans, or one per level for multi-level interior scans
HOVERReceipt PDFs — the Hover invoice for the scan
HOVERImages — uploaded photos from the scan

For multi-structure exterior scans, each building may return a separate receipt. For multi-level interior scans, the job returns a single receipt.
