Deeper Insights into Team Adoption

Hover's Analytics page now includes deeper feature Insights, enhanced team tracking, and interactive dashboards.

Updated yesterday

What's New? We have rebuilt the Analytics page to give you a more powerful, interactive way to track your team's activity. The new reporting experience replaces our legacy reporting with high-fidelity dashboards that offer deeper visibility into how your organization uses Hover.

This update introduces interactive filtering, weekly trend tracking, and granular feature-usage summaries that were previously unavailable in-app.

Overview

Hover's Analytics page provides a single, trusted source of truth for your organization’s usage and adoption metrics. The newest interface is divided into three primary views designed to help you evaluate ROI and team performance at a glance:

  • Most Active Users: Quickly identify your top-performing team members based on total scan volume.

  • Scan & Feature Volume: Track the total number of projects created and see exactly what percentage utilized premium features like 2D Design, Estimates, or Virtual Walkthrough viewing.

  • Weekly Trends: A new visual bar chart allows you to monitor scan volume trends week-over-week to identify growth or seasonal patterns.

Accessing the Analytics page

If you are a Hover Admin, or a Job Manager for your organization, you can access the Analytics page from the top of your Hover account page, when logged into the web app:

How to use it

The new dashboard is designed to be intuitive and self-service for both Admin and Job Manager-level users. You can now manipulate the data in real-time to find the specific answers you need:

  • Filter by Scan Type or User: Use the new "Drill Down" section to filter the entire page by specific project types (e.g., Complete Exterior vs. Roof Only) or individual team members.

  • Switch Between Aggregations: In that same "Drill Down" section, toggle the User Summary table to view data by raw numbers (#) or as a percentage (%) of total projects to better understand feature adoption.

  • Project Lists: Scroll to the bottom of the page to see a detailed table of every scan, including its status and who uploaded it, with direct links to open the project.

Pro Tip: Spend and commit tracking have been removed from the Analytics page to make room for deeper usage insights. These financial metrics will be available in the Billing Portal in the future.

Ultimately, these upgrades transform the Analytics page from a simple activity log into a strategic growth tool, with granular visibility you can use to optimize your team's workflow and maximize the value of every Hover scan.
