Once you have a look that feels right in 2D Design, you can carry that direction into 3D after your scan has been processed. This helps you move from early inspiration into detailed scoping without starting from scratch.
This beta version of design transfer allows you to send one material selection per trade (walls, roof, and trim) from your 2D design into the 3D environment.
Future updates will expand the transfer capability so more design decisions can move directly from 2D into 3D.
Follow these steps
Once you have completed your 2D design and selected the specific material to transfer to 3D:
Tap Design from the action bar
Select 3D
One material per trade (walls, roof, and trim) will carry over to the matching facet in 3D
This creates a consistent starting point in 3D and helps the homeowner recognize the look they chose in 2D.
Note: Future updates will expand the transfer capability so more design decisions can move directly from 2D into 3D.
