Managing your projects quickly with Hover's redesigned Project Details Page (PDP)

The Project Details Page (PDP) is your hub for managing every aspect of a project in the Hover platform. We’ve redesigned the page to make it easier for you and your team to find what you need and get the most out of Hover.

Whether you’re estimating costs, exploring design options, or sharing projects with your team, everything you need is now organized in one place.

The new experience offers:

  • Clear labels and grouped actions so you can quickly find what you need.

  • Simple job status indicators that make it easy to see where a project stands.

  • Improved feature discoverability so you can see what’s new.

  • A cleaner layout that cuts down clicks and makes tasks faster to complete.

Key tiles and features


The new layout organizes all your project data into clear sections, from measurements and 3D models to design inspiration and estimation, so you can move through jobs with less hassle.

Before and after side-by-side

We heard your feedback. The earlier design sometimes made it tricky to locate key features or see job progress at a glance. The new Project Details Page puts everything within reach with a cleaner layout that reduces clicks and speeds up tasks.

Project details

The project details - project name, property address, lead or claim number, and Hover's Job ID - are listed at the top and center of the page.

If you need to edit the project name, address, or lead/claim number:

  • Click the 3 dots in the top right corner of the screen

  • Select your desired action from the drop-down menu

    • This is also where you will find the option to archive the project

Share

Hover makes it even easier to send the project and its details to a professional partner or the Homeowner/Policyholder.

  • Click the Share button in the top right corner

  • Fill out the recipient's information

  • Click Send

Clicking Share also shows a list of any individuals who've already been invited to view the project details - if applicable.

Note: Sharing a project this way allows anyone to view the property details, regardless of whether they have an existing Hover account or not.

Notes

There is a separate tile that shows, at a glance, if any notes for the project currently exist. Click on a note to open it, or click the + to add a new note:

Design

Instant Design inspiration images are accessible in the Design tile. Click on a design to open it, or click the + to add a new Instant Design:

3D model and measurements

Quickly access the 3D model, particular measurements, or the measurements PDF from the 3D and Measure tiles located near the top of the page:

Estimate

Material Lists can now be found in the Estimates tile alongside our new labor and other cost estimation solutions. Click on an existing material list to open it, or click the + to create a new one:

Photos

All the projects photos are organized conveniently in one single tile. Click on a photo to open it, or click the See all prompt.

Any other Hover features you have access to will also be shown in this new, tile format.

Switching back to the previous layout (Optional)


You can return to the previous layout for a limited time while you get used to the new experience. To do so:

  • Click the 3 dots in the top right corner, beside your initials

  • From the drop-down menu, select Return to previous experience

Note: When navigating to a different project, the page will open with the new PDP layout automatically. You will need to complete these steps to return to the previous experience each time.

Frequently Asked Questions


When will I see the new Project Details Page?

We’re rolling out the updated web experience to a subset of customers in September, with mobile following later in the year. Exact timing may vary.

If you’d like more details on when this will be available to your team, please reach out to Hover Support or your account manager.

Will I need to do anything to prepare?

No action is required. The new page will appear automatically once it’s live for your account.

Will my access to features change?

No, your account access and feature availability will stay the same. The redesign simply makes it easier to find and use the tools you already have.

Where can I see Checklists or Renderings?

Use the More Actions tile for checklists and renderings.

Will the new layout be the same across web and mobile?

Yes, once fully rolled out, you’ll see consistent navigation, statuses, and features across both web and mobile.
