AccuLynx Integration

Connect your Hover account with the project management CRM, AccuLynx.

What’s new? The AccuLynx integration now includes Hover inspection data including photos, tags, notes, PDFs, and inspection question responses. No additional setup is required for existing users. Inspection data will begin syncing automatically.

Overview

AccuLynx has integrated Hover into their App-Connections feature so you can seamlessly share data between the two platforms, allowing you and your team to access property data, measurements, and inspection details in one place.

The HoverApp connection can:

  • Automate Hover scan requests using AccuLynx milestones/statuses

  • Send Hover scan requests to the sales rep assigned to the AccuLynx job

  • Import Hover's measurements into AccuLynx without manually exporting files across the two applications

  • Automatically sync Inspection photos from Hover to AccuLynx

  • Include the tags and notes associated with inspection photos in the photo description

  • Sync and add Inspection PDFs to the Documents section in AccuLynx

  • Include Inspection questions and answers as part of the inspection data

Note: AccuLynx-triggered scan requests will create Capture Only / Photos Only projects in Hover unless the Org has different Workflow Preferences set for all Hover projects.



How the integration works

Once your integration is set up, you can send Hover projects (i.e. jobs) directly to AccuLynx. When a job is synced, supported data is automatically transferred and organized within the corresponding AccuLynx job. Inspection data is sent after Hover finishes processing the inspection PDF (typically within a few minutes).

First, enable the Hover connection

Note: You must have administrator access to both AccuLynx and Hover to enable this connection.

  • Log into AccuLynx

  • Click on the Hover option within the AppConnections menu

  • Click Get Connected

  • Click Authorize Connection

    • You will be prompted to enter your Hover admin credentials

Next, configure Hover triggers

Once authenticated, you can configure "Hover Triggers" within the platform. This process allows you or your reps to start scanning the property without any delay, enhancing productivity.

  • Select the milestone (workflow status) that you want to trigger an automatic Hover scan request

  • Click Save

By enabling the Hover connection and configuring the triggers, Acculynx will automatically send Hover scan requests to the company representative assigned to the project, via the Hover mobile app, SMS messages and email.


Access the Hover data within AccuLynx

When the project status in Hover reads "Complete", the XML measurements, measurements PDF, Inspections PDF and photos, and a link to the 3D model will automatically import into the Acculynx interface.

Requirement: Inspection data will only sync for Hover projects that were created through the AccuLynx integration.

To access the XML file and measurement PDF:

  • Click the Documents tab

  • Open the Roof Reports file

To access the 3D file:

  • Click the Measurements tab

  • Scroll toward the bottom of the page

  • Click View 3D Rendering

To access Hover Inspection data:

When an inspection is completed in Hover and the job is synced, inspection data will appear in AccuLynx as follows:

  • Inspection PDFs

    • Located in the Documents section

    • If multiple inspections are completed, each inspection PDF will appear as a separate document

  • Inspection photos

    • Located in the Photos & Videos section

    • Each inspection photo includes a description containing:

      • Notes captured during the inspection

      • Tags associated with the photo

Want to filter and sort by tags?

There are a couple ways to do it:

Option 1) Work with your Hover account representative to get a full list of tags Hover uses in your unique inspection workflow. Then, share that list with the AccuLynx team to update on their end. As long as there is a shared list of the same tags, you will be able to see the tags in the dropdown associated with a photo.

Option 2) Manually add tags yourself:

  • Open Settings (gear icon) within the AccuLynx platform

  • Click Job File Settings

  • Click Photo & Video Tags

  • Manually add, edit, or delete your tags as needed
