In this article, we cover how to leverage the Verisk + HOVER integration when starting with an Existing HOVER Job.
Video User Guide: Starting with an Existing HOVER Job
NOTE: All Xactimate screenshots reference the Xactimate Online (XOR) version. Some differences will exist if using an older version, such as X1.
NOTE: The workflow outlined below shows the minimum amount of information required for the integration to function. You may need to enter more information for your specific process than is covered here. The workflow depends on the claim number matching between HOVER and Xactimate.
Creating a Project
If the project already exists within Xactimate, skip to the heading: Request 3rd Party Data. If you need to create a new project for the existing HOVER job, continue reading.
Log in to your Xactimate account.
Click the “New Project” button at the top of your Projects page.
Fill out the Property Name and click CREATE
From the Success notification, click OPEN PROJECT
By default, you’ll land on the Claim Info > Insured Info tab
Enter the address and select a claim representative
From the Coverages & Losses tab, enter the claim number
Click Save and Exit on the bottom left corner
Request 3rd Party Data
From your projects list within Xactimate, click on the project to highlight it
On the right side panel, click on the house icon (rest your pointer over the icon; it reads “Request 3rd Party Data”)
Select HOVER from the provider drop-down list, confirm the information and claim number are correct and click REQUEST
Importing HOVER Data into Xactimate
You’ll receive a notification in Xactimate once the HOVER job has been pulled in
Open the project
On the new window, click on the Sketch tab
Click the import icon - see the HOVER measurement data available to import
Click Import
The HOVER 3D sketch will import into your working estimate
From the Photos tab, you’ll see all the imported photos which were taken while onsite in the app (including damage and annotated photos, if applicable)
