What's new? Measurement mode is a new way to view and navigate measurements directly on the 3D model in Workspace. It replaces the measurement workflow in Design Pro and gives you a clearer, more efficient way to review Hover’s full measurement dataset.
You will see measurements displayed directly on the model and they will update automatically as you select different trades and materials. You can also click any area on the model to view its measurements, which helps you locate information quickly and avoid selection errors.
Overview
The new Measurements mode in Workspace creates a single workspace where the 3D model and measurement data are shown together. Measurements appear on the model immediately and adjust as you switch between categories, giving you both visual context and detailed values without navigating between multiple tools.
How to access Measurements mode:
You can enter Measurement Mode from either the project details page or from within Workspace, depending on where you are in your workflow.
Note: This update is part of a phased release and may not be available to all users yet. If your experience looks different, or you’d like early access, please contact our Support team.
Navigating Measurements mode
When Measurement Mode opens, Walls is selected by default and measurements appear directly on the model. Below is an overview of the core tools you will use in Measurements mode.
Menu

The left-hand panel complements the model by displaying segment-level information and totals for the active selection. This structure makes it easy to understand both the layout of the model and the measurements behind each surface.
Tap each trade to quickly switch between areas such as:
Walls
Roof
Siding
Trim, fascia, and soffits
Openings including windows, doors, and garages
The model and the measurement list will update to reflect your selection.
Action bar
Action bar
Any selection you make in the left panel or on the 3D model appears in the action bar so you always know what is selected.
From the action bar, you can select all segments in the category, clear the selection, or view the materials applied within that category. Choosing a filter adjusts the view to all the facets with that material applied.
